Roehgeim Swozalyrwyn

Storm Captain, skilled warrior, master angler, and part-time adventurer - Roehgeim has seen much in her thirty-five years (despite having lost sight in one eye in her youth.) Daughter of a Lominsan sea wolf fisherman and an Ul’dahn hellsguard adventurer, Roehgeim picked up skills from both her parents, joined the Marauder’s guild as soon as she was old enough, and carved a name for herself with her battleaxe. While she has a gift of the echo, Roehgeim is not a member of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn like her twin sister, Niuwyb, or her wife, Flaming Orchid; opting instead to use her ability to work more closely with the Sahagin and Kobolds than one vulnerable to tempering would be able to. She still assists the Scions when needed.

Niuwyb Swozalyrwyn

The current Warrior of Light, Niuwyb was pieced together and formed from parts of the previous four Warriors of Light's souls by Hydaelyn after they perished during the Calamity. Thrown into the world with no memories or any identity, she was sent in the direction of the adventurer's guild, where Baderon jokingly suggested she take on the name Niuwyb, meaning "new woman". Not really having anything else to go by and seeing the humour in his joke, she went with it.
After establishing herself as an adventurer, she would meet another with the same face as hers - a Maelstrom Storm Captain named Roehgeim. While there was confusion at first, Roehgeim's echo ability to sense people's motivations let her understand Niuwyb was just as clueless about the situation as her. Through discussions with the Scions, they figured out the basics - Niuwyb had been put in Eorzea by Hydaelyn, and had given her a borrowed appearance.
The strange circumstances didn't stop Roehgeim from adopting Niuwyb into her family as her twin sister, giving Niuwyb one of her first proper ties to Eorzea, as well as a Warrior teacher.
It wasn't long after this that Niuwyb became a key figure in Operation Archon, and was declared the Warrior of Light and recognised for her deeds... and the rest is history.

Sandrine Grandtemps

Born to a Gelmorran servant in Ishgard, Sandrine lucked out and got a recommendation to study at Saint Endalim’s Scholasticate in her youth. She left Ishgard for Sharalyan in the Dravanian Hinterlands only a couple years after, finding the Scholasticate biased and lacking. The same year she achieves archon status for her research into Dravanian and Ishgardian history, her mother is tried for heresy, and she finds herself accused of the same, and is unable to return to Ishgard. When Dravanian Sharalyan is abandoned, rather than travel to Old Sharalyan with the other scholars, Sandrine elects to travel around Vylbrand. Throughout her travels she learns many schools of magic, having an affinity for the manipulation of aether, supplemented by her echo. Upon using her newly learnt skills in conjury to save Sonje Boarsblood, an Ala Mhigan refugee, she pledges to protect Sandrine, and the two become travelling companions. The two follow Sandrine’s echo of premonition, finding themselves in Dravania once more. When Sandrine has a vivid premonition of a woman falling from the sky, she manages to enlist the help of the dragon Vidofnir, and they arrive just in time to catch a falling, near-death Ysayle Dangoulain.

Mellow Autumn

Trained as a gladiator from when she was young enough to hold a sword, and sworn as a paladin of the sultansworn not many years after that, Mellow had known naught else. For over thirty years she served the sultansworn, most of those under Captain Solkzagyl, with whom she became romantically involved on and off in the latter years. When Solkzagyl was accused of treason, she would not believe it, and was shunned by many of the other sultansworn. When the truth of the situation came to light, she was overjoyed, but dismayed to find that Solkzagyl had left on a journey without even seeing her. After another series of incidents including faking his death and adultery, Mellow left him to his devices and returned to Ul’dah with the intention of retiring from the sultansworn. It was then that she met X’rhun Tia, who offered to teach her to be a red mage.

Amlodi Hamsakeeper

A viera that washed up on the shores of Thavnair, and upon awakening, claimed to have lost his memory. With nothing but clothes and a doman sword to his name, he was taken in by Arkasodaran farmers, and soon adapted to their lifestyle. These days, he can be found tending to his hamsa or working on rebuilding the hatchery after the damage done during the Final Days.

Sonje Boarsblood

Weight: 85kg/187lb

An Ala Mhigan refugee that had fled into Gridania, Sonje was found unconscious and near death by a duskwight conjurer who saved her life. Feeling indebt to her saviour, she decided to dedicate herself to protecting her. When the conjurer grew weary of the ways of the Shroud, Sonje followed her to Vylbrand; when the conjurer felt need to return home, Sonje followed her to Coerthas; when the conjurer was scorned by her homeland, Sonje followed her to Dravania; when the conjurer caught wind of tragedy about to strike, Sonje took to the skies with her and caught the falling snow. And when the war in the conjurer's homeland was finally brought to an end, Sonje was reminded of her own home long lost. And so she returned to Ala Mhigo with her two companions and she saw peace returned to her own homeland, too.
